Golf Fitness Platform for Coaches
A lot of golfers have been asking us what we mean by ‘Train better. Play more.’ This blog post will explain the thinking and logic behind the exercises included in Kinexit. We believe in doing exercises which are right for you will give you better and faster results meaning you spend less time on the fitness aspect of your sport and more time on playing your sport – Train better. Play more.
Is Kinexit a quick fix for my fitness goals and aspirations?
No, Kinexit is based on science from Gray Institute which focuses on finding the root cause of physical restrictions rather than focusing on where the pain is. Kinexit will help you focus on the areas of your body most in need of improvement and help you reach your long-term goals.
Is Kinexit only for low handicappers?
Kinexit is designed for golfers of all levels and ages. The program will automatically adapt the choice of exercises based on your mobility test. The one thing all Kinexit users have in common is the desire to improve their game.
Why do I need to do a mobility test before I can start using Kinexit?
This is the foundation of our thinking – Train better. Play more. The test will identify movement restrictions in your body helping you to focus on exercises which will help you improve your physical abilities. Once you’ve completed the mobility test Kinexit will automatically select exercises for you which will improve your areas of restriction and weakness.
How often and how long do I need to work out?
You will see results within a few weeks if you work out 15 minutes 3 times per week with Kinexit. If time permits, we recommend you increase to 30 minutes 3 times per week.
What happens when I start improving?
Great question. To ensure you optimize your training you should take the mobility test every month. When you work out your mobility and strengths will improve. When you re-take the test, Kinexit will automatically select new exercises for you, based on your new test score. This way you’ll always keep improving.
You say I will increase my swing speed – how much farther will I hit my drives?
In 2017, Business Sweden surveyed 500 golfers using Kinexit in the US. They found that 80% of users increased their swing speed by 2 mph resulting in 8-10 yards more driving distance. They also found that 90% of users played more rounds – and an impressive 75% lowered their hcp by 1 stroke within 6 months.
I also play other sports – will this program help me improve these?
Kinexit is composed of more than 1,000 different movement and strength exercises. Some are for general fitness and some are specific to golf. Working out with Kinexit will help you improve other sports such as running or cross-country skiing as well as your golf game. However, keep in mind this is not a ‘one-size-fits-all’ – Kinexit is designed to improve your golf game.
Train better. Play more.
Training is about quality – not quantity. With Kinexit you get a personal digital trainer on your mobile phone. You can train in your kitchen, the gym or on the golf course. You select the duration each time you work out to ensure you can fit your training around your busy schedule.
In this webinar, you will learn how to recognize and understand the various motion-analysis techniques for better golf performance. Chris Mansson, Golf Fitness Professional and CEO at Kinexit will break down key golf mechanics, discuss the correlations between movement and
